Across the country, rising housing costs are making it harder for teachers and school staff to live in the communities they serve. Some school districts are responding by developing workforce housing, tackling challenges of financing, community engagement, development approvals, and tenant selection. This session brings together leaders from Colorado, California, and the Midwest to share concrete examples of how school districts and nonprofit developers have successfully built housing for school district staff. Participants will gain practical insights into how such projects are structured and accomplished.
