Jonah Freedman is a Program Manager with the Institute for Transportation Research and Education at NC State University. He has 10 years of experience working in transportation research and technical assistance, and his unique role at ITRE has enabled him to work with every one of the 70+ community transportation agencies in the state. As Program Manager of the Bicycle and Pedestrian Group at ITRE, Jonah has also supported NCDOT and localities with Active Transportation data-gathering efforts and hopes to expand the scope of ITRE’s role in the Bike-Ped space. Jonah specializes in GTFS data management, transit asset management, project management, and intercity bus/rural transit service planning.
