LAUREN ALGER, PE, ENV SP

Lauren Alger, STV’s National Director of Sustainable Design, is a civil engineer who champions sustainable design and construction practices across the built environment. As the Chair and Co-Founder of ASCE Infrastructure 2050, Lauren leads key initiatives that promote the reduction of embodied carbon within buildings and infrastructure systems. Her work is instrumental in further developing critical standards such as ASCE 73-23: Standard Practice for Sustainable Infrastructure. Her commitment to practical, data-driven change is evident as she advocates for these efforts at major national and global forums, including key events at the United Nations.
