Dr. Michael Vea has dedicated his career to expanding educational opportunities and reimagining what schools can be. He began teaching fifth grade with Teach For America in New York City before co-founding KIPP Infinity Middle School in Harlem in 2005. Today, Michael is a School Design Partner at Transcend, working hand-in-hand with communities across the country to redesign U.S. high schools for the future. He holds a Doctorate in Education Leadership from Harvard Graduate School of Education, a Master of Science in Teaching from Pace University, and a Bachelor of Science in Education and Social Policy from Northwestern University.
