Tom Moore is a seasoned demographer with over three decades of experience in public sector planning and student enrollment management. He has served Orange County Public Schools since January 2007, where he currently leads strategic enrollment forecasting and demographic analysis within the Student Enrollment division.
Prior to his tenure in Orange County, Mr. Moore held dual roles at Broward County Public Schools for six years, serving as both the District Demographer and Director of School Boundaries. In these capacities, he oversaw boundary planning, enrollment projections, and demographic studies to support long-range educational facility planning.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Moore worked as a Transportation Planner and GIS Analyst for the Broward County Metropolitan Planning Organization, and as an Associate Planner for Broward County Government. His responsibilities included evaluating development proposals for traffic concurrency and contributing to regional transportation and land use planning initiatives.
Mr. Moore holds a Bachelor of Arts in Geography from the University of Florida and a Master of Urban and Regional Planning from Florida Atlantic University.
