This session will introduce participants to the new National Center on School Infrastructure (NCSI), funded by the US Department of Education. NCSI is a national resource hub that supports states and school districts in the stewardship of America’s elementary and secondary public school facilities. In this session, we will explore case studies of current educational facility master plans, identifying best practices in community engagement, local government collaboration, facilities condition assessments, rubrics for prioritization, site vision plans, and an interactive facilities database.
