Ally is a federal policy expert with over a decade of experience in advancing equity-driven education policies. She is co-owner and founder of a women-owned government relations firm that supports nonprofit, mission-based clients with policy & advocacy, grassroots organizing, coalition management, and direct lobbying. Her work is fueled by a deep commitment to eliminating equity gaps that impact underserved children and families and chronically under-resourced communities.
Ally has helped secure billions in federal funding for education programs and is known for her ability to bring diverse groups together to successfully influence legislation. In her role as Executive Director for BASIC, she has helped secure tens of millions of dollars from the federal government to support states and districts as they modernize school facilities. She helped write the legislation that created the Supporting School Infrastructure grant program and the National Center on School Infrastructure. In 2022, she was honored with the Women in Government Relations “Advocate on the Rise” award for her dedication and service to nonprofit organizations. During law school, Ally received the award for most pro-bono hours served for the time she spent teaching 4th and 5th grade students in the most underserved schools in Yonkers New York. She graduated from Pace Law School in 2013 and from Florida State University in 2010.
