Kelly Murphy is the Senior Director of Real Estate Services at the NYC School Construction Authority and has been with the SCA since 2016. Kelly has worked both in the public and private sector working as a consultant in the NYC metro area and internationally on planning and finance matters; she served as Deputy Mayor for Economic Development for New Haven, CT for eight years creating the environment for $2.5 billion in new private investment and development; and was Deputy Director with the NYC Department of City Planning where she worked on projects like the new Yankee Stadium and the first Hunts Point Vision Plan. Kelly holds a Master’s Degree in Urban Planning focusing on Economic Development and Affordable Housing Finance and a bachelor’s degree in history & political science.
